Yep, I've said that my fair share of times. It's crazy the energy it takes for me to get my son, Ryder, to look at the camera these days. The classic "Say Cheese!" sadly for me usually results in a crooked smile that is everything but natural. I recently came across Swanky Stitch on Facebook and their "lens friends". Here are a few. What a fun way to get your sweet baby to look at the camera than to actually attach their favorite cartoon character to said camera. I'm going to have to try this! Despite the sickening Tennessee heat at the moment, I absolutely had a blast photographing little Wyatt, 9 days old :) So new and so cute. He was even cute as he peed and pooed everywhere during the shoot, haha! It was so sweet to watch Jessica and Drew with their baby boy, they are such wonderful parents.
